Thursley Nature Reserve

Thursley National Nature Reserve is looked after by Natural England and volunteers. It is a site of Special Scientific Interest of heathland with bogs and ponds. There are some wooden boardwalks giving the opportunity of seeing the natural history close up. It is 200 to 300 feet above sea level in an area of Thursley Common between Thursley and Elstead in Surrey. There are several other open areas close by making it part of a large sweep of open, protected countryside.
There are a significant number of damselflies and dragonflies, spider, bird, moss and other natural flora to be seen in season.
